Meet Glen Bradley
Glen Bradley is a regular working class man fed up with the systemic corruption in our government, and in both political parties. Glen has loved the strong and simple guarantees in the US Constitution from a very young age, and his desire to defend the Constitution led him to serve in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 to 1997. Having been born again in 1998, his desire to serve God led him to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary from 2000 to 2003.
As a strict Constitutionalist, Glen stood unafraid and unashamed to defend the strict construction and original intent of the North Carolina and United States Constitutions, even when it was politically difficult, or went against his own party. As champion of Constitutional principle, Glen is often on the lonely side of 119 to 1 votes. Although he was told he should be ashamed of being a sole dissenter, he wears it as a badge of honor, a lone voice opposing the abrogation and ignorance of the Constitution in our government today.
Glen has been recognized by the Tenth Amendment Center as the nation's leading advocate for applying the tenth amendment to nullify unconstitutional Federal legislation, and restore the original intent of the US Constitution from the States. He led the fight in North Carolina to oppose the Federal food takeover in S510 by introducing House Bill 65 the Farmer′s Freedom Protection Act, and he fought against the Federal misinterpretation of the commerce clause that has expanded Washington′s power over everything we do by introducing House Bill 240, the Intrastate Commerce Act.
Glen led the fight to enact real job growth legislation in House Bill 587 the NC Job Growth Act, and he won a major victory by forcing 90% of that job growth language to be inserted as the crown jewel job growth piece of the Joint Committee′s Senate Bill 781 Regulatory Reform Act.
In the North Carolina State Senate, Glen will continue to fight for the people of North Carolina, and he will continue to represent the will of his district to the best of his ability by fighting for more job growth legislation, repairing the job growth portion of SB 781 that was weakened by the Joint Committee, and upholding and defending the United States and North Carolina State Constitutions with an iron will to restore the Constitutional order, uphold State Sovereignty, and defend the Constitutional Republics of the United States and the Great State of North Carolina.
